We now offer dressage classes for Gaited Horses
through Third Level Test 2!
These are letter sized sheet PDF files for tests.
*(asterisk)* on file name indicates that a front page has been added to the pdf file.
Test fronts are a letter size sheet in the pdf files. If you do not wish to include this
extra page, start printing at page 2. The tests on this page have added a front page, but are
the same score sheets offered by TWHBEA & NWHA and approved by the USEF and USDF.

• Attention competitors! Our gaited dressage offerings are not yet available at the QCDC Year End Award Qualifiers (see list links on Home Page). They are offered at some QCDC member barns for special show series that have their own series awards.• However, the QCDC Directors are discussing the QCDC gaited category option for 2010. We need more competitor feedback to help us develop the program. In addition, the USEF is already offering USDF and USEF tests to Western riders.
• Gaited and Western riders should conform to the USEF dressage rule for bitting, spurs and whips.
QCDCYear End Awards
Champion, Reserve Champion and ribbons through 6th place will be awarded.
Riders may sign up at any QCDC show.
A High Percentage Award will be given for the highest percentage score at each level
(Intro, Training, First, Second (percentage), Sport Horse, Musical Rides).A sample year end award certificate is HERE. Click right ribbon above to see a 3/4 size championship award. Click left ribbon to see a 3/4 size reserve champioship ribbon.
1) The same horse/rider combination must show at a minimum of 5 shows at 3 different member locations. You MUST mark that you want your scores to count on ALL your entry forms at EACH show. Quality of the Year End Awards depends on the total number of QCDC rides for the year. An unmarked entry form affects the individual entrant as well as the awards for that year. PARTICIPATION STARTS WHEN QCDC IS MARKED ON ENTRY FORM, REGARDLESS OF PLACING.
2) Each participating QCDC show pays QCDC for each marked entry per ride in Classes 1-17. This money goes toward year end awards. You must mark EACH show entry form for your scores from the shows to count. This is the entrant's responsibility! A charge of $15 will be assessed of any entrant who did not mark his entry form: the fee is $15 per show per occurrence.
3) Each horse/rider combination may only show at 2 adjacent levels at one show.
4) Each horse/rider combination may accumulate points in up to 4 levels in any given year.
5) Training level musical freestyle is recognized ONLY by the QCDC. If there are sufficient entries, a Training Level QCDC MFS award will ge given. High score % is the highest % score/level/division at the end of the year. Be sure to keep your test sheets!
